Role Responsibilities Reporting to the Forest Area Manager, this position supports engagement with Indigenous communities and contributes to the delivery of Forest Area programs, including forest management, wildfire prevention, wildfire operations, community wildfire mitigation, and other forestry initiatives.

The role supports communication, information sharing, awareness, and opportunities for participation in Forest Area programs and services.

Key Responsibilities include: Support engagement and communication with Indigenous communities throughout the Forest Area.

Promote awareness and education related to forestry, wildfire prevention, wildfire operations, land stewardship, and community wildfire mitigation.

Participate in community meetings, events, outreach, and training activities.

Support information sharing between Indigenous communities and Forest Area staff regarding programs, initiatives, and opportunities.

Identify and promote training, employment, contracting,



and business development opportunities related to forestry and wildfire programs.

Support community awareness of wildfire operations and community wildfire mitigation initiatives.

Provide support to Forest Operations and Wildfire Operations programs.

Join us in supporting engagement with Indigenous communities across the Forest Area through education, outreach, and information sharing.

This role helps promote awareness of forestry, wildfire prevention, wildfire operations, community wildfire mitigation, training, and employment prospects while supporting the delivery of Forest Area programs.
