In this permanent position, you'll enhance Work SafeBC's government relations initiatives through effective communication. You will support, plan, and execute program strategies while liaising with MLA offices, ministries, and stakeholders. Your expertise in drafting concise materials contributes to our mission of fostering protected workplaces across British Columbia.
Key Responsibilities:
Build productive relationships with government contacts
Draft explicit, concise communications for various audiences
Develop briefing and media materials as required
Monitor political developments relevant to Work SafeBC
Support information requests from MLA offices and ministries
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Communications or related field
Minimum 6 years in government relations or public affairs
Strong editing and proofreading skills
Experience with external stakeholders
Understanding of B.C.'s political landscape
