ILAC International College is hiring an Object-Oriented Analysis and Design instructor in Toronto. Teach essential principles of systems design every Thursday from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
As a contract instructor, you will guide students through the software development process using UML and object-oriented programming concepts. This position requires a minimum of three years of industry experience and a solid foundation in Java or Python, along with effective teaching abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver classroom instruction for object-oriented design
• Guide students through practical UML modeling workshops
• Assess student progress through various assignments
• Mentor teams during design projects
• Collaborate with academic staff for course delivery
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline
• Three years of skilled experience
• Robust knowledge of UML and design patterns
• Experience with modeling tools preferred
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience is an asset
