As a Senior Accountant within MNP’s Tax team, you'll work with a team of experts to deliver tailored tax strategies. Your responsibilities will focus on compliance, evaluating business processes, and leading engagements. You’ll also collaborate with clients and engage with government agencies to resolve tax issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete personal and corporate tax returns and compliance slips
• Set up files for recent clients and businesses
• Develop proactive tax strategies and policy recommendations
• Investigate discrepancies and collaborate on resolutions
• Prepare client correspondence and technical reports
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in commerce or business administration
• CPA designation completion is required
• 2 to 4 years of public accounting or tax experience
• Knowledge of Canadian Income Tax Act
• Experience with accounting and tax software
