This part-time nursing position is part of the Emergency Department Admission Avoidance Program at St. Joseph’s Healthcare Hamilton. As a Registered Nurse, you will apply robust clinical skills while collaborating with an inter-qualified team. Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, particularly for those with complex health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care for patients in the Emergency Department
• Communicate changes effectively with health care teams
• Support the implementation of best practices and community referrals




• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal outcomes
• Respond to patient needs in palliative and end-of-life care
Requirements:
• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Strong clinical assessment and interpersonal skills
• Experience with geriatric patients preferred
• Certification in BCLS/HCP required
• Knowledge of health care delivery systems and community resources
