Drive change in waste management as a Garbage/Recycling Truck Operator at Tk’emlúps te Secwépemc (TteS). This key role focuses on secure refuse removal and equipment maintenance.
You will work full time under the Planning and Engineering department, ensuring productive waste management for TteS residents. Applicants should ideally have a Grade 10 education and demonstrate basic mechanical abilities, making this an excellent opportunity for those eager to contribute positively to the community.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate truck for community garbage and recycling collection
• Conduct pre-trip inspections for vehicle safety
• Maintain and assist in equipment repairs
• Interact courteously with Band members and public




• Assist in other public works activities as necessary
Requirements:
• Completion of Grade 10 education or relevant experience
• Current Class 5 driver’s license and clean record
• WHMIS Training and Level One First Aid certificates
• Basic mechanical skills are preferred
• Capability to work independently and physically perform duties
