TULLOCH is seeking a Survey and Material Testing Technician to enhance our Geomatics team's capabilities in Canada. Support construction projects while conducting diverse surveys and material assessments.
In this pivotal role, you will assist in shaping infrastructure by performing critical surveys and rigorous material tests. The position is based in Sault Ste. Marie, Sudbury, Thunder Bay, or Timmins and involves a 2-week rotation schedule. Your skills with contemporary surveying technologies will contribute to quality assessments and project success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform volumetric and as-built surveys using latest technologies
• Carry out soil sampling and material tests in office
• Monitor settlement and check surveys for data accuracy




• Conduct civil inspections ensuring compliance with standards
• Staking alignments and grades with precision
Requirements:
• Diploma from a Civil Engineering or Survey Program
• Proficient in mining software like Mine Cad and AutoCAD
• Experience with Total Station and related tools
• Current Class G driver’s license required
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
