Atlantic Road Construction & Paving is a well established heavy civil construction company specializing in mass excavation, drilling & blasting, pipe & underground utilities, concrete placement and asphalt paving. Our company has seen tremendous growth over the past several years and we are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team. We are looking for a well-rounded individual with a excellent attitude, willingness to learn and help out wherever needed in terms of our accounting operations.

Requirements:
Relevant post-secondary education or two years of equivalent experience.
Experience using various accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Well organized and detail oriented.
Able to process transactions accurately in large volumes.




Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Positive work ethic and positive attitude.

Responsibilities
Ensure timely payments on accounts owing.
Review invoices and have them approved by the relevant department.
Reconciling accounts with vendors.
Checking for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings.
Process cheque runs.
Working in conjunction with the accounting team and other departments.
Various administrative functions as required.
