As a Delivery Assistant, you will transport and handle merchandise, assisting the driver with critical tasks while ensuring customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include inspecting loads prior to delivery, providing timely customer communication, and general department support. By following health and safety policies, you will ensure both your safety and that of our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Move merchandise safely from trucks to customer locations
• Check loads and collaborate with the driver on deliveries
• Communicate with customers ahead of deliveries
• Engage in order preparation and truck maintenance
• Follow all safety and health guidelines
Requirements:
• Secondary 5 diploma with Class 5 driver’s license preferred
• Capacity to perform physical tasks up to 23 kg
• Comfortable working outdoors regardless of weather
