Age Care is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse to join its team. You will implement care policies alongside Registered Nurses and ensure residents receive high-quality care. Your responsibilities will include liaising with physicians, notifying significant changes, and leading the care team in a supportive setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Registered Nurse on care policies
Provide direction to Personal Support Workers
Liaise with healthcare team and external partners
Notify physicians of significant resident changes
Participate in shift reports on resident status
Requirements:
Knowledge in geriatric and long-term care nursing
Certificate of Competence from College of Nurses Ontario
Familiarity with relevant healthcare acts and regulations
