In this role, you'll have the chance to work in different settings, take on diverse assignments, and apply your security expertise wherever it's needed most. Whether conducting patrols, monitoring access, responding to incidents, or providing excellent customer service, you'll play an important role in maintaining protected and secure environments.

Responsibilities for Casual Security Guard
Monitor the premises to ensure security
Conduct patrols to spot any suspicious activity
Address incidents or potential threats quickly
Write detailed reports on events and incidents
Control access points and check identification
Provide excellent customer service while maintaining security
Partner with authorities during serious situations

Qualifications for Casual Security Guard
Authorized to work in Canada
Hold a valid BC Security License
Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving abstract - an asset
First Aid Certification - an asset
Ability to work/pick up minimum 3 shifts per month
Valuable eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
Physically able to drive, patrol, stand, and walk for extended periods
Alert, detail-oriented, with strong situational awareness
