Join Nova Scotia Health as a part time Radiological Technologist specializing in General Imaging. Deliver patient-centric care while operating radiological equipment independently in a collaborative workplace.
This permanent part time position in the Northern Zone requires a graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Technology. As a Radiological Technologist, you will perform diagnostic procedures utilizing ionizing radiation. Additionally, you'll promote safety while effectively communicating within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate radiological equipment with minimal supervision
• Deliver patient-centered care during imaging procedures
• Maintain effective communication in a healthcare team
• Apply ALARA principles while ensuring patient safety
• Travel to other sites as needed
Requirements:
• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiological Technology
• CAMRT certification and NSRMIRT licensure
• Previous experience in patient care is an asset
• Ability to work independently with initiative
• Bilingual abilities in French are preferred
