We seek a Turbomachinery CAD/GD&T;/Stack-up Designer who can transform mechanical designs into release-ready hardware. Your role will navigate various engineering domains, ensuring designs meet functional and inspection criteria necessary for high-performance turbopump assemblies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Build detailed 3D CAD models of turbopump components
• Author and release comprehensive 2D drawings from concept to production
• Run tolerance stack-ups for complex assembly fit
• Collaborate on design adjustments to optimize manufacturing
• Manage part releases and documentation through PLM cycles
Requirements:
• 9+ years in drafting precision aerospace hardware
• Advanced CAD skills, ideally in Siemens NX
• Knowledge of ISO GPS / GD&T; standards
• Hands-on turbopump manufacturing experience
• Proficiency in PLM systems like Teamcenter
