BGC Okanagan is seeking compassionate professionals to assist youth in a low-barrier stabilization home. In this position, you will engage with youth dealing with complex barriers such as homelessness, mental health, and family conflict. Your work will include creating individualized strength-based plans and fostering a protected, supportive setting that nurtures growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and evaluate youth’s progress with a care team
• Teach social skills through daily routines




• Monitor safety and wellbeing in residential settings
• Provide emotional support and crisis intervention
• Maintain logs and reports on residents’ progress
Requirements:
• Diploma in a related human/social service field
• Two years of recent relevant experience
• Class 5 driver's license required
• Successful criminal record checks
• Ability to work 21 hours weekly on set shifts
