Accountant – Public SME in manufacturing - South-Shore

Responsibilities:
Assist Controller with financial planning, reporting, and US GAAP compliance.
Prepare financial statements and manage plant accounting functions (costing, payroll, A/P, A/R).
Oversee accounting, audit, and tax activities for global locations (Canada, France, Switzerland).
Support departments with purchasing, inventory, costing, and budgeting.
Analyze variances and provide recommendations to management.
Assist with audits, internal controls, and asset management.
Ensure accurate inventory and material flow in manufacturing.
Help with budgeting, forecasts, and month-end closing.
Provide flash reports, consolidation, and foreign currency translation.




Lead and support the accounting team for productivity and accountability.

Qualifications:
Fluent in French and English.
Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance, CPA preferred.
Solid process adherence, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
Skilled in building partnerships and leading projects.
Solid interpersonal and communication skills.
