The MMF is hiring a casual Child Care Assistant to care for children while providing essential programming rooted in Métis culture. Key Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain a positive learning environment
• Facilitate children’s environmental stewardship efforts




• Support conflict resolution among children
• Encourage children to express themselves correctly
• Ensure safety protocols are followed during incidents
Requirements:
• Recognized completion of a 40-hour childcare course
• One year of relevant experience as a child care assistant
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Valid 1st Aid/CPR certification
• Explicit checks for vulnerable sectors and driving capability
