Mechanical Maintenance Technician – Wind Power
We are looking, on behalf of our client in the wind energy sector, for several mechanical maintenance technicians to support teams located on the East Coast of Canada.
Job Description
The mechanical maintenance technician will be primarily responsible for preventive maintenance, inspections, and servicing of wind turbines. You will work directly on the equipment to ensure performance, reliability, and safety.
This is a seasonal position lasting 6 to 8 months.
Main Responsibilities
Perform preventive maintenance on mechanical components of wind turbines
Conduct regular inspections and diagnostics of equipment
Carry out maintenance and repair tasks in accordance with safety and quality standards
Work closely with technical and supervisory teams to optimize operations
Contribute to the implementation of technical and procedural improvements
Job Requirements
College diploma (DEC) or vocational diploma (DEP)
in mechanics or industrial maintenance, or equivalent experience
Knowledge of industrial mechanical equipment
Ability to work at heights and in sometimes demanding conditions
Strong attention to detail, autonomy, and team spirit
Daily housing allowance and other premiums
Work clothing, personal protective equipment (PPE), and tools provided
Full training provided upon hiring
