In this role located on the 2 South Cardiac Surgery Step-Down Unit, you will collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and various specialists to manage postoperative patients effectively. An independent practice license is essential, along with proficiency in relevant medical procedures and technologies. This role is pivotal for patient recovery and education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and assess daily patient post-operative care
• Liaise with nursing staff to address concerns
• Perform clinical assessments and necessary procedures
• Manage ward rounds and engage with medical teams
• Oversee discharge planning and coordination of care
Requirements:
• Independent practice license in a relevant specialty
• Experience in Cardiology or Critical Care
• Proficient in bedside clinical procedures
• Current ACLS certification
• Solid communication and organizational skills
