This full time role, based in the Dickson Building at QEII, is part of the Pain Self Management Program. As a Physiotherapist, you will assess and treat patients, educate them on health promotion, and work closely with other health professionals. Your expertise will also be essential in supervising physiotherapy students and assistants.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess and treat patients with functional limitations
• Educate patients and families on physiotherapy practices
• Collaborate with clinical team on patient management
• Supervise physiotherapy students and aides
• Promote patient self-management skills
Requirements:
• Master's degree in Physiotherapy
• Membership with Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists
• Current BCLS certification
• Solid client focus and collaboration skills
• Interest in program development
