Stantec seeks an experienced skilled for its Mining & Civil team. You will carry out crucial tasks such as soil sampling, hazard reporting, and operational maintenance while adhering to health and safety standards. This position requires both independent fieldwork and occasional office rotations, including 12-hour shifts and travel to remote locations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Follow site-specific HSSE policies for safety
• Participate in daily tailgate meetings
• Monitor geotechnical parameters for quality control
• Conduct soil sampling using nuclear gauges
• Report technical observations and provide guidance
Requirements:
• Post-Secondary Diploma in relevant fields
• 5 years relevant industry experience, including mine driving
• Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Standard First Aid Level C with AED
• Ability to travel to remote locations
