Become a pivotal member of EllisDon's estimating team as an Estimator focused on construction projects across Western Canada. Your role will involve delivering accurate cost estimates, aiding in recovery after disasters and various institutional developments.
As an Estimator, you will leverage 7+ years of estimating experience to support Client services with realistic budgeting and complex insurance claims. Collaborating closely with project teams, you will develop effective estimating strategies and oversee mentorship for junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver accurate cost estimates for a range of projects
• Assist clients in capital planning and procurement strategies
• Lead estimating for emergency repairs and rebuilding projects




• Coordinate with various internal departments for aligned costs
• Produce and substantiate extensive cost documentation
Requirements:
• At least 7 years of estimating experience in ICI
• Proficiency in Xactimate and Bluebeam estimating software
• Familiarity with public-sector and institutional clients
• Relevant designations ideal, such as Gold Seal
• Proven independent leadership and communication skills
