Senior Helpers is urgently hiring compassionate Health Care Assistants. This position is ideal for both new graduates and experienced individuals from nursing homes, assisted living, or healthcare. You will assist with personal care, monitor client conditions, and provide companionship, all while working adaptable shifts tailored to your schedule.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist clients with bathing, grooming, and dressing
• Support meal preparation and light housekeeping
• Monitor and report changes in client conditions
• Assist patient mobility and protected transfers
• Provide companionship and emotional support
Requirements:
• Registration with the BC Care Aide & Community Health Worker Registry
• Completion of a Health Care Assistant program
• Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• Negative TB test within the last 90 days
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred
