In this permanent part-time position at the Cape Breton Regional Hospital, you will perform essential diagnostic tests like ECGs and exercise tolerance tests under a Cardiologist's supervision. You will prepare patients for various monitoring techniques while guiding recent learners in the department. Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in ECGs and Holter monitoring, along with a strong sense of initiative.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests
• Prepare patients for ambulatory monitoring procedures
• Conduct stress tests under Cardiologist supervision




• Mentor and precept new learners in the department
• Adapt to flexible workload and varying shift schedules
Requirements:
• Completion of a Cardiology Technology program
• Current registration with the Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists
• Recent clinical experience in an ECG department
• Valid BLS (HCP) certification
• French language skills are an asset
