Job Title: Production Support L3 Specialist - ETL Location: Mississauga, ON Work Mode: Onsite Experience: 5 9 Years Role Summary We are seeking an experienced Production Support L3 Specialist to provide Level 3 production support for enterprise ETL applications.
The ideal candidate should have robust expertise in Ab Initio, ETL, Unix, and SQL , with hands-on experience in batch monitoring, incident management, troubleshooting, release coordination, and stakeholder communication.
The role requires ensuring application stability, maintaining SLAs, and collaborating with development and business teams to resolve production issues efficiently.
Must-Have Technical Skills Ab Initio ETL Development & Support Unix/Linux SQL Production Support (L3) Batch Job Monitoring & Recovery Incident & Problem Management Release & Deployment Support Key Responsibilities Monitor and support production batch jobs, ensuring successful execution and timely completion.
Troubleshoot production incidents, analyze root causes, and recover failed ETL jobs.
Work closely with development teams to implement permanent fixes and prevent recurring issues.
Coordinate with business users and application teams to resolve production support tickets within SLA.
Support application releases, deployments, and post-deployment validation activities.
Maintain production stability by proactively monitoring system health and performance.
Prepare incident reports, RCA documentation, and project-related documentation.
Coordinate with multiple stakeholders and provide regular status updates on production issues.
Ensure adherence to SLA, operational processes, and support best practices.
Act as an onsite coordinator between offshore teams, business users, and project stakeholders.
