Job Description Our client is seeking a Chaos Testing Lead with deep expertise in resilience testing for large-scale, business-critical payment systems.
The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying system vulnerabilities by designing and executing chaos engineering experiments aligned with ISO 20022 standards.
Key Responsibilities: Define and implement a chaos testing strategy for high-availability payment systems Lead fault injection tests using tools like Gremlin, Chaos Monkey, or Chaos Toolkit Simulate outages and disruptions to assess system behavior under stress Collaborate with platform, infrastructure, and application teams to build robust, fault-tolerant systems Analyze outcomes, document findings,
and drive improvements in system resilience Ensure alignment with disaster recovery, business continuity, and ISO 20022 compliance Promote a culture of proactive resilience and continuous improvement Required Skills: 8+ years in QA, Site Reliability, or Infrastructure Engineering roles Hands-on experience with chaos engineering tools (e.g., Gremlin, Chaos Toolkit, Chaos Monkey) Robust knowledge of ISO 20022 messaging and payments architecture Familiar with fault injection, monitoring/observability, and CI/CD practices Experience working in highly regulated or mission-critical settings
