Job Description
Position Title: Shipping / Receiving

Term: Full Time Permanent
Reports to: Supervisor, Distribution

Hourly Range: $23.08-$25.80

Shift: This department operates 7 days a week. Shifts will vary based on business needs and will be discussed during the interview.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Load store orders from the cooler onto trucks for customer shipping.
Verify that load orders are correct, strapped in properly, and that required equipment is assigned to the truck.
Unload and receive products, complete proper paperwork, signoffs, and verification.
Pile various sizes of boxes onto skids, ensuring neat, safe,
and secure piles.
Keep floors tidy of debris and broken eggs, and ensure the space between pallets and the wall is clear.
Complete daily safety checks on the power cart and/or stacker; report any issues to the Supervisor.
Move pallets of eggs from the grading floor to the graded cooler.
Move inventory safely to avoid product breakage.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
High school education preferred.
Must be able to lift 1‑50 lbs.
Must have attention to detail.
Must have a strong work ethic, attendance, and willingness to work as a team player.
Must be able to work in a loud and busy setting.
Must be able to work in a cold workplace for order picking.
Must be able to read and follow work instructions, policies on proper load procedures and order picking procedures.
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
Ability to work independently and within a team setting.
