In this supportive role, you will collaborate with the Recreation Therapist to deliver recreational therapy services, enhancing client participation in individual and group settings. You will plan and adapt programs to cater to diverse needs while monitoring and reporting client progress to ensure effective therapy outcomes. Your leadership role will involve directing volunteers and facilitating community-based engagement.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute recreation therapy activities based on client needs
• Observe and adapt sessions to support independence




• Communicate client progress to the therapeutic team

• Ensure the secure transport of clients as needed
Requirements:
• Completion of a Therapeutic Recreation Diploma Program
• Understanding of Trauma Informed and harm reduction practices
• Solid interpersonal communication abilities
• Self-motivated and teamwork-oriented
• Physically capable to perform all duties
