Through its programs and services, it contributes to the development of vibrant, sustainable and safe communities. FUNCTION & RESPONSABILITIES Under the direct supervision of the Foreman; you will be required to make repairs to our housing units.

More specifically you will be given work orders to complete in the area of carpentry, heating, plumbing and electrical repair.

You will be responsible for applying a preventive maintenance plan for the housing units.

You will be a part of a callback system to answer to emergencies in the evenings and on the weekends.



QUALIFICATIONS Northern Maintenance diploma or pertinent experience in replacement of diploma Two (2) years of experience at least 2 maintenances fields: carpentry, electricity, heating or plumber REQUIREMENTS Ability to work in two of the three languages of the region (Inuktitut, French or English) Valid drivers license required or the obligation to take a drivers course when one is offered SKILLS & COMPETENCIES A excellent sense of client services Concern for the quality of work done Ability for team work Reliable and punctual SALARY / BENEFITS NHB offers a competitive salary, northern benefits and engaging working conditions.
