As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess physical health needs and manage medication under the guidance of a psychiatrist. This position emphasizes collaboration with community partners to enhance mental health accessibility. You'll engage in treatment provision to underserved populations while ensuring adherence to best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assess client needs and mental status individually
• Administer medications and ensure treatment compliance
• Develop and revise client recovery plans
• Collaborate with community partners for service enhancement
• Engage in education for clients and community outreach
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of mental health modalities and assessment skills
• Experience in community-based mental health settings
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Valid Driver’s License and CPR certification
