Role Description
The Audiologist will provide comprehensive hearing healthcare services to patients in an on-site clinical setting in Brockville, ON. This full-time role includes conducting hearing assessments, interpreting diagnostic results, and recommending appropriate hearing solutions such as hearing aids and assistive listening devices. The Audiologist will perform hearing aid fittings, programming, verification, and follow-up care, while educating patients and families on hearing health and device use.
Responsibilities also include maintaining accurate clinical documentation, collaborating with clinic staff and external partners, and contributing to a positive, patient-centered care environment.
Qualifications
Clinical audiology skills, including hearing assessments, diagnostic testing, and interpretation of audiograms.
Proficiency in hearing aid selection, fitting, programming, verification, and ongoing patient follow-up.
Strong patient communication skills, with the ability to educate and counsel individuals and families on hearing health.
Solid organizational and record-keeping abilities, including accurate documentation in clinical and practice management systems.
Cooperative mindset and ability to work effectively with clinic staff, leadership, and external partners.
Master’s degree in Audiology or equivalent, and current licensure/registration to practice audiology in Ontario (or eligibility to obtain).
Experience in a clinical audiology or hearing aid dispensing environment is preferred.
