In this temporary 0.6 position at Learning Services, you will support diverse learners, implement effective teaching strategies, and ensure all students thrive academically and socially. A valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate or eligibility is required, along with a Master’s degree or coursework in Special Education or Inclusive Education.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with students and families for inclusive education
• Implement Positive Behaviour Supports and Functional Behaviour Analysis
• Develop and manage classroom assessments and IEPs
• Facilitate career development meetings
• Utilize technology for instructional enhancement
Requirements:
• Valid BC Ministry of Education Teaching Certificate
• Master’s degree or coursework in Special Education
• Solid commitment to inclusive practices and diverse learner support
• Experience with Social Emotional Learning strategies
• Ability to travel to multiple schools in the district
