Become a Purchasing Agent for a leading oil and gas producer in Chetwynd, BC. This role is office-based, under a one-year maternity coverage with a chance for permanence.
The Purchasing Agent will manage procurement processes using Limble CMMS, focusing on securing materials and services. Key tasks include vendor interaction to acquire pricing and delivery information. You will also handle logistics and work closely with maintenance teams. Some travel to plant sites may be involved, with transport provided by the company.
Key Responsibilities:
• Buy materials and services via Limble CMMS
• Handle coordination of parts orders and deliveries
• Communicate with vendors to check pricing and schedules
• Manage logistics for shipments to operational sites
• Support Maintenance and Operations with timely material availability
Requirements:
• Experience in purchasing is required
• Industrial supply background preferred
• Oil & gas or maintenance field experience is advantageous
• Solid skills in organization and communication
• Familiarity with CMMS systems is a plus
