About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Nursing Executive (CNE) and Vice President for Quality, Risk, Patient Experience, and Professional Practice. This executive leadership role is pivotal in driving the organization's strategic priorities in clinical excellence, patient-centered care, and organizational performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for enterprise-wide leadership in quality and patient safety, skilled practice, patient experience, health justice, and various other critical areas. Key leadership priorities include advancing clinical excellence, enhancing patient experience, and furthering the academic mandate through practice partnerships and interprofessional learning. The role also involves leading digital innovation, and evidence-informed practice,
and contributing to the organization's overall strategy and transformation.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare executive leadership, with a focus on quality, patient safety, and skilled practice. They should be recognized for their strategic leadership, operational acumen, and ability to build trusted relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. The role requires a collaborative and emotionally intelligent leader who can navigate complexity, foster alignment, and drive continuous improvement. Experience in a complex hospital, integrated health system, or a similar setting is essential, as is a proven track record in advancing organizational transformation and a solid understanding of clinical governance and academic practice. The CNE and VP will be expected to serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and the Board, and to foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning.
