Become a critical part of Regina's Addictions Treatment Centre as a full time Addictions Nurse Coordinator. Support patients with substance dependence through intensive care management and assessments.
In this role, you will assess and treat patients diagnosed with mental health and addiction concerns. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will create comprehensive care plans and conduct risk assessments, providing essential training and education within the community. Your leadership will enhance team collaboration and ensure clients receive top-notch care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage case assessments for addiction service patients
• Create individualized treatment and safety plans
• Educate clients on medication and addiction management
• Facilitate naloxone training and community education
• Supervise healthcare staff to ensure protected care practices
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing
• At least 2 years in a relevant mental health setting
• Valid registration with RPNAS necessary
• Current CPR and PART certification required
• Knowledge of addiction treatment strategies and Indigenous culture
