Empower seniors at AgeCare as an Environmental Services Assistant in Calgary. Your role in maintenance and cleaning will ensure a warm and inviting atmosphere for our residents.
As part of AgeCare's mission, you will execute minor repairs, carry out cleaning tasks, and maintain our outdoor areas. This position is crucial in providing a secure and comfortable home for our seniors, fulfilling both routine maintenance and essential cleaning duties.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform repairs on doors, screens, and locks
• Carry out plumbing tasks like fixing leaks
• Patch and paint indoor areas as necessary
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum regularly
• Explicit snow and ice from outdoor pathways
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or similar qualification
• Proficient in following English instructions
• Understanding of Joint Occupational Health regulations
• Willingness to complete a Vulnerable Sector Check
• Experience in maintenance or cleaning work is preferred
