What youll do: Reporting to the General Manager, the Petroleum Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Petroleum Department.
You will meet or exceed budgeted goals by providing leadership and direction to the Petroleum Department Team Members.
Proactively engage new and existing customers to identify unmet fuel and lubricant needs, uncover market prospects, and recommend strategic solutions that strengthen customer portfolios and drive sustained volume and margin growth.
Be responsible for efficient buying, inventory management, and pricing strategies to reach ideal sales and margins.
Promote the sale and use of Co-op petroleum, lubricants, fuel equipment, and promote Co-ops branding initiatives.
Be responsible for developing and achieving operating plans and budgets.
Be responsible for developing a strong workplace culture.
Provide leadership of the departments human resources needs including recruitment and training, development, succession planning, performance management, discipline, recognition and motivation, administration of policies.
Work co-operatively with all departments and suppliers.

Who you are: You are looking for a retail career in Petroleum and: Have exceptional customer service skills with high housekeeping standards.
Have excellent communication skills.
You have knowledge of petroleum, lubricants and of regional industries.
You have a valid Class 5 drivers license. A 1A license would be an asset.
Have relevant experience or have been in a leadership position.
