About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Metals Estimator (minimum 2 years' experience) to prepare accurate, competitive estimates for ACM panels, metal siding, soffits, roofing systems, custom sheet metal, and other building envelope projects.

Responsibilities

- Review drawings, specifications, and tender documents to determine project scope.
- Perform quantity takeoffs using Bluebeam and prepare accurate cost estimates for materials, labour, equipment, freight, and subcontractors.
- Identify scope gaps, prepare RFIs/RFPs, review addenda, and update estimates.
- Develop value engineering options and prepare complete bid packages, including quotations, inclusions/exclusions, and pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers, clients, consultants, project managers, and drafting teams while meeting tender deadlines.

Requirements

- Minimum 2 years of estimating experience in architectural metals.




- Experience with ACM panels, metal siding, custom sheet metal, soffits/fascia, roofing systems, and building envelope assemblies.
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu, construction drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Construction Engineering, Architectural Technology, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or a related field.
- Experience with AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and Canadian construction/tendering practices.
