Join the RDKB team as a Certified Water/Wastewater Operator at the Columbia Pollution Control Centre in Trail, BC. This full time role involves managing operations at the wastewater treatment facility.
This temporary position is open for certified Water/Wastewater Operators 1 or 2. You will report to the Chief Operator and oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring the facility runs smoothly. Your keen attention to subtle changes in plant processes will directly impact the effectiveness of our wastewater services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate and manage daily tasks at the treatment facility
• Monitor performance of pumping stations and collections system
• Respond effectively to changes in plant processes




• Participate in the on-call program on a rotating basis
• Collaborate with the Chief Operator on maintenance duties
Requirements:
• Certified WTP or WWC Level I or II through EOCP
• Ability to work full time, 40 hours per week
• Must possess the right to work in Canada
• Willingness to engage in overtime when needed
• Union membership with CUPE Local 2254
