About the Role

The Company is seeking a Vice President, Business Development and Industry Relations to play a pivotal role in the growth and sustainability of the organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing business development strategies to support the advancement of qualified financial planning. This executive will lead the external engagement with key industry stakeholders, including firms, sponsors, regulators, and other strategic partners, to strengthen the market position and influence of the organization. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in business development, preferably in the banking, financial, or insurance sectors,



and the ability to operate at a strategic level while being hands-on in supporting initiatives.

The ideal candidate will have a background in strategic executive leadership, well-developed strategic planning skills, and the ability to execute complex strategies effectively. They should possess exceptional leadership, management, and interpersonal skills, as well as superior communication and negotiation abilities. The role requires a leader who can build and nurture productive relationships, is adept at closing deals, and can work collaboratively across all areas of the organization. Knowledge of the regulatory and political workplace of the financial services industry is an asset, and proficiency in both official languages is preferred. The Vice President will be a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, showcasing the organization's value proposition and fostering a customer-centric approach both internally and externally.
