MEDOCare is hiring a Pharmacy Assistant to enhance our pharmacy operations under the Pharmacy Manager's guidance. This full time role requires teamwork and comprehensive knowledge of prescription management. Responsibilities include ensuring prescription accuracy and providing immediate assistance at the counter while maintaining high standards of care and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Dispense medications and fill prescriptions accurately
• Ensure proper documentation on all prescriptions
• Provide prompt service at the prescription counter
• Maintain inventory and restock pharmacy supplies
• Process insurance claims and transactions
Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Knowledge of Kroll software is an asset
• Experience in team-based environments
• Customer-focused with robust interpersonal skills
• Understanding of Red River Métis culture is preferred
