IMMEDIATE SUPERIOR: Aircraft Maintenance Service Manager, YYZ

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Effectively perform all commercial aircraft maintenance activities on demand in the hangar and on the ramp;
Ensure that all aircraft documents are duly completed;
Ensure that each component installed on the aircraft is certified;




Carry out the duties and responsibilities described in the Maintenance Service Control Manual and ensure compliance with Transport Canada's standard regulations;
Participate in training courses as assigned by management;
Comply with the SMS ("Safety Management System") policy;
Maintain and ensure a clean and safe working environment at all times;
Assist in all other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:
Valid Transport Canada M2 category license;
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience;
Ability to work under pressure and demonstrate robust organizational skills;
Valuable organizational skills and ability to work under pressure;
Attention to detail;
Have a positive attitude;
Good team spirit;
Valuable communication skills.

EDUCATION:
Aircraft Maintenance Technician diploma or equivalent.
