In this part time role, you will provide vital community and public health services while ensuring patient care in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. As a driver of health promotion, disease prevention, and population health protection, your nursing care will have a direct impact on local wellbeing. This position offers flexibility with scheduling during core hours from Monday to Wednesday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver comprehensive nursing functions in First Nations communities
• Promote health and prevent diseases within the population
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members for community care
• Independently manage nursing responsibilities in diverse settings
• Travel across the region to meet community needs
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or equivalent experience
• Current BCCNM registration as a practicing nurse
• Minimum one year of point-of-care nursing experience
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License
• Basic Life Support Certification Level C
