Become an After School Educator at Umbrella Family and Child Centres in Dundas, Ontario, focusing on child development and safety. This part time prospect offers fulfilling engagement with children.
This permanent role averages 16.5 hours weekly, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Monday through Friday. You will be responsible for creating play-based learning experiences that meet developmental needs while ensuring children's safety and enjoyment. Additionally, you will help facilitate smooth transitions for children entering the program.
Key Responsibilities:
• Welcome families and children professionally
• Support children in self-regulation and social interactions
• Engage in meaningful programming and activities
• Provide nutritious snacks,

• Monitor children during indoor and outdoor play
Requirements:
• Early Childhood Education Diploma and positive standing
• Related childcare experience required
• Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with How Does Learning Happen?
• CPR Level C and First Aid certification required
