Advance your career in healthcare with George Brown College's Personal Support Worker (PSW) program. This enriching two-semester curriculum trains students to assist the elderly and those with chronic illnesses, emphasizing hands-on learning and clinical practice.
The PSW program is conducted at the Daphne Cockwell Centre for Health Sciences at Waterfront Campus. Classes run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday to Friday, aligning with the evolving demands of healthcare. Students will undertake supervised clinical practicums, providing valuable exposure to real-world challenges across the Greater Toronto Area.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete clinical practicums under faculty supervision
• Attend scheduled classes throughout semesters

• Comply with all health and safety requirements
Requirements:
• High school diploma with Grade 12 English
• Documented medical records and vaccinations
• Annual renewal of Vulnerable Sector Check
• Completion of Pre-placement health documentation
