As an Accountant at MNP, you'll engage with clients directly, ensuring that their financial needs are met through tailored reporting and insights. This role requires development in audits, bookkeeping, and applied accounting standards, making it essential for those pursuing a long-term accounting career. You'll set up client files, carry out audits, handle accounts, and support financial analysis.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop technical knowledge in audits and bookkeeping
• Establish and manage files for recent clients
• Summarize financial status through reports and statements
• Investigate discrepancies in financial documents
• Collaborate with client engagement team and build relationships
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in commerce or business preferred
• Steps towards CPA Qualified Education Program (PEP)
• Office experience in accounting related roles an asset
• Familiarity with accounting software a plus
• Client service experience in previous roles encouraged
