Become a vital part of the Saskatchewan Polytechnic team as a Lab Coordinator for Dental Programs. This part time position focuses on maintaining and optimizing lab environments for effective student learning and program delivery.
As a Lab Coordinator, you will provide critical technical and operational support for Dental Assisting, Hygiene, and Therapy programs. Your responsibilities will include managing lab setups, troubleshooting dental equipment, and coordinating shared lab spaces across multiple programs. Solid communication and an understanding of dental workflows are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare and coordinate lab environments for all activities
• Operate and troubleshoot dental and simulation equipment




• Manage inventory systems and supply procurement
• Schedule lab usage across various programs
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
Requirements:
• Certificate or Diploma in Dental Assisting or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant clinical experience
• Advanced knowledge of dental procedures and equipment
• Robust organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
