As a Senior Software Engineer specializing in SRE, you will be tasked with ensuring high reliability for Grafana Cloud databases accessed by thousands of customers. This role requires collaboration with engineering squads, defining service-level objectives, and leading customer-oriented incident responses. You will engage in designing systems for scalability and reliability while employing automation to alleviate operational toil.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage production reliability for high-SLA settings
• Define tenant SLOs and reliability models
• Lead customer-impacting incident response
• Collaborate on design documents and code reviews
• Use automated tools to enhance operational efficiency
Requirements:
• 6+ years in engineering, with 3+ years in production roles
• Kubernetes expertise in AWS, GCP, or Azure
• Solid experience with incident management and SLO design
• Proficiency in programming languages like Java or Python
• Capacity to work independently with engineering teams
