Responsibilities
Build forms for concrete
Cut, shape, and join
Look for and fix deficiencies
Build hoarding and other temporary structures
Check accuracy of work and make adjustments as required
Study blueprints for work planning
Construct and form chutes for pouring concrete
Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level
Inform immediate supervisor of abnormalities or defects and/or take appropriate measures
General site upkeep
Minimum Requirements
Preference given to Registered Carpenter Apprentices from a recognized provincial training authority
Non‑ticketed carpenters must provide proof of hours relevant to the industrial Carpentry trade
Experience with concrete formwork required
Certifications: CSTS & WHMIS
Skid‑steer and zoom‑boom certifications are an asset
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Describe and point out safety compliance and regulatory issues
Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
