The Village of Erin Meadows has an exciting opportunity for a FOOD SERVICE AIDE to join their team.

The hiring rate for this role is $22.78 per collective agreement/employee association agreement.

Responsibilities
Display a caring and respectful attitude toward our residents, families, and team members.
Work in an accurate, quick, and safe manner.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs (5–20 lb usual),



and push/pull wheeled equipment such as carts and trolleys that weigh a maximum of 100 lbs (20–50 lb usual).
Possess exceptional time‑management skills and the ability to work in collaboration with a team.
Assist in serving meals and beverages to our residents, ensuring we meet residents’ diets and food preferences while following safe and sanitary food‑handling techniques.
Support with the preparation of catering functions and events, and maintaining a clean dining room and workspace.
Be able to stand or walk for the majority of your shift (8‑hours maximum).
Support and embrace our resident‑centered social culture and be proud to deliver the highest quality of customer service to our residents.
Have a valid Smart Serve Certification.
Hold a valid Food Handlers Certification.

Preferred Qualifications
Completed, enrolled in, or willing to enroll in the Food Services Worker training program.
Hold a valid Food Safety Awareness certification or equivalent.
