Become an MRI Technologist I with the Diagnostic Imaging team at Chinook Regional Hospital in Lethbridge, Alberta. This part time role, at 0.5 FTE, delivers vital imaging services to our community.
In this position, you will create high-quality MRI images to assist in diagnosing and tracking disease. Responsibilities include patient positioning, thorough history reviews, and open communication to address patient concerns. Applicants must be registered or eligible for CAMRT registration to join our dedicated team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform and document high-quality MRI imaging
• Prepare, position, and support patients during procedures
• Assess patient histories to deliver optimal care
• Explain the MRI process and provide reassurance
• Maintain and calibrate MRI equipment for reliability
Requirements:
• Accredited diploma in MRI technology
• Certification from a Medical Radiology or related program
• CAMRT registration eligibility
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required
• Authorization for IV/CVAD procedures
